Solstice Wood Fire Cafe in Hood River, Oregon, is seeking an experienced Dining Room Manager to lead our service team beginning this Spring.

The Dining Room Manager is responsible for all dining room operations, including staffing, scheduling, seasonal planning, staff training, seasonal business planning & essential guest area upkeep. The Dining Room Manager ensures that company-driven goals are met and leads Solstice s service standards while being our dining room team's primary leader, communicator, and coordinator. The Dining Room Manager models and acts following Solstice's guiding principles and core values and approaches challenges with an open-minded and entrepreneurial spirit.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• A college or hospitality school degree is recommended. Additional certifications in food and beverage are desirable.

• 4 years experience as a Dining Room Manager or a similar role.

• Proficient in the following dimensions of restaurant functions: staff planning and training, scheduling, sanitation, security, equipment, beverage purchasing, company policies and procedures, personnel management, recordkeeping, and preparation of reports.

• Knowledge of computers, restaurant software (MS Excel, Google Drive, POS systems, Homebase or equivalent software).

• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, proportions, labor, and beverage COGS percentages using simple algebra.

• Must be 21 years of age or older.

• Must possess a valid driver's license.

• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Competitive salary is dependent on experience. Starting at $55K
